In-depth

Zoe draws from multiple modalities in her work as a therapist to best suit her client’s needs.  Taking into consideration a client’s individual characteristics, past history, cultural context, and emotional experiences. Having worked in a clinical capacity for over a decade with clients from a diverse range of backgrounds, She combines aspects of trauma-informed cognitive behaviour therapy (TI-CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and solution-focused therapy (SFT).

Zoe is also influenced by positive psychology principles in improving well-being. She has a special interest in the construction of meaning post-trauma which seeks to heal dysfunctional patterns and behaviours from early life, through meaning-making in the present. Through her work in the human rights sector, she has developed her skills in supporting front-line workers at the coal face of trauma and human rights issues.

In her personal time, Zoe loves working out, spending time in nature, hiking, water sports, and all-around-adventuring.
